After exploring the 3D representation of photosynthesis yesterday, I felt compelled to return to one of my favorite organisms to share in AR--flowers. The cone flower, Echinacea (Greek for sea urchin), is in the sunflower family. In this AR piece I envisioned a small garden of coneflowers growing in my living room and leaning into the sun as part of the photosynthesis process-creating oxygen for all living creatures.
Even when worlds like Mars, or flowers from North America, seem so distant, AR enables us to bring these worlds right into our homes.
The cone flower was built in Cinema 4D, textures and materials for all the assets were created in Photoshop, and the AR was created with Adobe Aero.
